Petrol Australia App Settings — Dark Mode, Map App, Marker Size & More

Petrol Australia has a handful of settings to make the app look and behave the way you want. Most live under Profile → System, with brand filtering under Profile → Preferences.

Appearance (light / dark / auto)

Profile → System → Appearance. Choose Light, Dark, or Auto — Auto follows your device's system setting and switches with it.

Preferred map app

Profile → System → Preferred map app. Pick Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, or System default. This is used whenever you open directions to a station or start navigation from a route.

Waze doesn't support multi-stop routes, so the Route planner falls back to your device's native maps (Apple Maps on iPhone, Google Maps on Android) when Waze is your preferred app.

Map marker size

Profile → System → Marker size. Make the price markers on the map larger or smaller to suit your screen and eyesight.

Hide brands you don't use

Profile → Preferences → Filter by brand. Hide brands you'd never fill at so they drop off the map and list, leaving a cleaner view of the stations you'd actually visit. You can un-hide them any time.

Replay the tutorial

Profile → System → Replay tutorial to walk through the app's intro again from the start.

Report a bug or send a suggestion

Profile → System → Report a bug or Send a suggestion to tell the team what broke or share an idea for improving the app.
