Petrol Australia shows live pump prices across New South Wales using data from NSW FuelCheck — the official government price feed operated by NSW Fair Trading.
Data source
NSW FuelCheck is a mandatory reporting scheme. All fuel retailers in NSW are legally required to report price changes to FuelCheck within 30 minutes. Petrol Australia fetches this feed continuously.

NSW price cycle
Sydney typically follows a weekly price cycle: prices rise sharply on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, then fall over the following 6–7 days. The cycle bottom usually lands on Monday or Tuesday. Regional NSW often follows a similar pattern but with less variation.
