Fill-Up Tracking

Petrol Australia records your fills as part of completing a planned trip. When you finish a Route and confirm you filled up, what you paid is saved to your Trip history — building a record of your fuel cost and the savings you made.

Requires: A free account, and a planned trip in the Route planner.

Recording a fill-up

  1. Plan a trip in the Route tab and tap Start navigation to drive it (see Route planner).
  2. When you return to the app, it asks "Did you fill up?"
  3. Tap Yes, I filled up.
  4. Adjust the price you paid (c/L) and how many litres you added if they differ from the plan.
  5. Confirm — the fill is saved against that trip.

The total cost is worked out automatically from litres × price.

Where your fills appear

Your recorded fills live in Profile → Trip History. Each completed trip shows the fuel amount, the cost, and the saving for that stop, and the totals card adds up your cost, savings, distance, and CO₂ across the period. See Trip history.

Good to know

  • A fill is recorded only when you confirm a planned trip — choosing No, I didn't stop records nothing.
  • Setting up your vehicle (tank size and economy) makes the litres and savings more accurate — see Set up your vehicle.
