Reporting an incorrect price

If you see a price that doesn't match the pump:

  1. Open the station details (tap the station on map or in list)
  2. Tap Report price
  3. Select Correction and enter the price you saw
  4. Tap Submit

For government-verified states (NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, ACT), corrections are noted but the official feed price takes priority until the retailer updates the government system. NT is not live yet — there are no NT prices to correct in the app.

Reporting a missing station

If your local station isn't in the app, contact support (below) with the station's address and brand. Stations must be registered with their state's fuel reporting scheme to appear.

Getting help

For account issues, bug reports, or feature requests, contact the Petrol Australia team at:

Website: https://petrolaustralia.com.au
Support: Use the in-app support link (Profile → Support & contact)

Deleting your account

Profile → scroll to the bottom → Delete account

Account deletion removes your profile, saved settings, vehicles, fill-up history, favourites, and price alerts. It cannot be undone.

Common issues

Notifications not arriving

  1. Check that push notifications are allowed: iOS Settings → Petrol Australia → Notifications → Allow
  2. Check that the master toggle is ON: Profile → Notifications → Price-cycle alerts
  3. Check that home location is set: Profile → Home location
  4. Check quiet hours are not covering the time you expected the notification

Widget not updating

  1. Open the app — this triggers a data sync
  2. Check Background App Refresh is on: iOS Settings → General → Background App Refresh → Petrol Australia
  3. Re-add the widget if it remains stuck

Price seems wrong

For government-verified states, the price in the app reflects what the retailer has reported to the government. If the pump price differs, the retailer may not have updated the system yet. Use Report price to flag it.
