Fuel Discount Programs
If you're a member of a motoring club or loyalty program that offers fuel discounts, connect it to Petrol Australia. The app applies your discount to pump prices and shows your effective cost per litre everywhere — in the map, list, and station compare.

How to enrol in a program
- Open Profile tab
- Tap Discount programs
- Browse by state tab or search by name
- Tap a program to see details: discount amount, participating stations, terms
- Tap Enrol — a tick appears confirming enrolment
Enrolment in the app does not replace external membership. You still need the relevant membership (e.g. RAA, NRMA) to receive the discount at the pump. The app uses enrolment to calculate and display your effective price.
RAA Metro + Regional bundle
RAA offers two programs — Metro and Regional. If you have an RAA membership, you can enrol in both simultaneously. In the discount list, RAA appears as a single bundled row with both options pre-selected when you join.
Where discounts appear
| Location | What you see |
|---|---|
| Map markers | Effective price shown on marker (if discounted) |
| Nearby list | Discount badge and effective price in station row |
| Station details | "Save Xc/L — [Program name]" badge |
| Station compare | Effective price used in savings calculations |
Discount amounts
Each program has a default discount per litre (e.g. 6c/L). The actual discount at a specific station may vary — some stations offer more, some less. The exact per-station figure is shown in station details when your enrolled program applies.
Excluded fuel types
Some programs exclude certain fuel types (commonly E85). The station details sheet shows whether the discount applies to your selected fuel type.
